With ‘X-Mas Ballads & Techno’, the DJ, who is actually a well-known model manager (1st Place Models), delivers an exciting hybrid album featuring nine cosy ballads, nine techno remixes of these ballads, a Christmas techno song in both soft and harder remix versions, and an unusual bonus track.

The bonus track ‘Christmas Bombs are falling’ is an anti-war Christmas song that aims to show how good we have it, while people in times of war are fighting for their lives, even at Christmas.

The first single release, ‘The Most Beautiful Christmas Angel,’ is a romantic but also sad Christmas ballad that the Austrian wrote many years ago for his ex-girlfriend from Carinthia. Even though this love has long since faded and the 42-year-old no longer mourns this love, the song shows his ambivalent approach to Christmas. Wachta even sings along in the background during the song's chorus.

The song ‘Christmas Grinches’ is also intended to appeal to people who are not really Christmas fans. The song shows what Christmas should really be about: love and togetherness instead of conflict. These are values that are urgently needed in times like these.

As with his debut album, DJ Dominik Wachta & friends relies on a hybrid form of genuine musical craftsmanship supported by AI. All lyrics and melodies are by Dominik Wachta, most of the vocals are sung by real people, and AI has helped wherever the model manager's craft was not enough.
