Diana & Oleg Yanushkevych kamen am 22. Februar 2022 für eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Dokumentartheater nach Berlin. Dann brach der Krieg aus und die Geschichte nahm ihren Lauf.
Im Frühjahr dieses Jahres haben wir uns über Berliner Kollegen getroffen, um ein paar gemeinsame Aktionen auszuloten.

Dann plötzlich der Hammer!
Neben den ersten Auftritten, neben der Zusammenarbeit von Diana & Oleg mit den Berliner Philharmonikern, unabhängig von der politischen Situation, prallten unsere musikalischen Seelen wie zwei Planeten aufeinander, die sich zu einem neuen Universum zusammenfügen.
Unser Zusammenspiel ist so magisch, dass es uns die Hintergründe unseres Zusammentreffens vergessen macht.

Nach unseren ersten gemeinsamen Schritten stellte sich schnell heraus, wie stark wir uns bereichern und erleichtern können. Haben wir miteinander doch ein gemeinsames Weiterleben gefunden und daraus die ersten Lieder geschrieben.

Daraus soll ein Album werden, das unsere Geschichte erzählt. Mit den Liedern wollen wir Kraft geben, in allem Dunkel den Glauben an das Gute in uns Menschen nicht zu verlieren.
Wir müssen aufrecht bleiben und Liebe empfinden, sonst halten wir das alles nicht durch. Wir alle!

Diana & Oleg Yanushkevych came to Berlin on February 22, 2022, for a collaboration with the Dokumentartheater Berlin. Then the war broke out and history took its course.
In the spring of this year, we met through Berlin colleagues to explore a few joint activities.

And suddenly magic crossed our way!
In addition to the first performances, in addition to the collaboration between Diana & Oleg and the Berlin Philharmonic, regardless of the political situation, our musical souls collided like two planets merging into a new universe. Our interaction is so magical that it makes us forget the background of our meeting.

After our first steps together, it quickly became clear how much we can enrich and ease each other. After all, we found a common life together and wrote the first songs from it.

This should be an album that tells our story. With the songs we want to give strength not to lose faith in the good in us humans in all current darkness.
We must stand up and feel love or we won't get through this. We all!
