The Window (Live)

With “The Window – Live”, Swiss symphonic metal band Deep Sun release the first single from their upcoming live album. The recording was captured on March 28, 2026, during a professionally produced concert at Schützi Olten and brings the band’s energy, dynamics and passion directly to the listener.

Originally released on the 2025 album “Storyteller”, “The Window” gains an additional level of intensity in its live version. Powerful guitars, driving drums, orchestral keyboard arrangements and the distinctive vocals of Debora Lavagnolo combine to create an energetic and melodic symphonic metal track. Lyrically, the song represents new perspectives, self-reflection and the courage to overcome personal boundaries.

Founded in 2006, Deep Sun have established themselves as one of Switzerland’s prominent melodic and symphonic metal bands. Their music combines heavy riffs, memorable melodies and atmospheric arrangements with a positive and powerful spirit. Several strong placements in the Swiss album charts, as well as numerous concerts and tours in Switzerland and abroad, have further strengthened the band’s reputation as an energetic live act.

The upcoming live album was made possible with the support of the band’s dedicated fan community, the “Deep Sunlights”. A successful crowdfunding campaign helped fund the professional audio and video production of the concert. The album is mixed and mastered by Frank Pitters of Silverline.

“The Window – Live” marks the beginning of the release campaign. A second live single will follow on August 21, 2026, before the complete live album is released on September 25, 2026, digitally and as a limited physical edition.
