Awake

Following the success of their self titled debut EP in 2018, Concrete Kingdoms are following up with the release of the new single ‘Awake’. The track explores the reawakening of the senses and the battle to rediscover a sense of direction when times are difficult, a reflection of what many are facing in life right now. Building upon the re-release of ‘Die This Day’ from the debut EP under new management Forge AMP in late 2020, ‘Awake’ delivers the upbeat riffs that many have come to expect, but also signals a clear evolution towards a heavier sound going forward. The track was recorded in Edinburgh just prior to the reintroduction of lockdown measures and is the first of a number of releases planned for 2021.
