Clara Febré Releases a New Album Companion for Grief and Fullness
Buenos Aires — Argentine singer-songwriter, music therapist and doula Clara Febré today announces the release of Hacer las paces con la muerte, a six-song indie-folk album created as a sonic and creative refuge for people walking through loss. The album is inspired by the teachings of the Escuela de la Muerte, a learning community dedicated to making peace with death and grief in order to find fullness in life. After her own encounter with death, Febré began studying grief and met Camilo Russi, whose resources, tools and wisdom illuminated the opportunities that grief can open after a death or a loss. Each song synthesizes a module of that school. Febré describes the album as an act of honoring both those teachings and the loved ones who have died.“This album seeks to be a sonic and creative refuge for all those who are suffering,” she writes, “so they can integrate their experience, walk through the pain, and allow the love that remains to keep transforming the affective bond.”Lyrics were co-written with Camilo Russi. The arrangements remain intimate, leaving space for the listener’s own process.Hacer las paces con la muerte is available now on all major streaming platforms.About Clara Febré:Clara Fernández Febré is a licensed music therapist, doula specialized in gestational and perinatal grief, and singer-songwriter based in Argentina.
