This release showcases City Blues Connection's enormous musical range; while the A-side features hard-hitting Blues Rock with "PLAYIN' BLUES," the B-side offers the Mississippi Delta Blues track "SLIDIN' TO CALL FOR ACTION," an atmospheric instrumental.
