"In February of 2019 I flew to Thailand where I lived in a house on Kamala Beach for two weeks. There I found a picnic bench directly by the sea where I set up my small recording device and began to make this album. Challenges included insects flying into my mouth, my guitar almost breaking apart from the humidity, loud neighbors and my own technical limitations as a sound engineer. But in the end the sound of the sea and those beautiful birds came together with my songs to make this album what it is.
