Kot nekoč

Glasbeni projekt Kot nekoč je poklon tradiciji in času, ko je bil zvok harmonike nekoliko drugačen – topel, surov in edinstven. V ospredju so stare harmonike, ki s svojim značilnim tonom ustvarjajo posebno glasbeno vzdušje ter poslušalca popeljejo v preteklost.
Na albumu se nahaja 12 instrumentalnih skladb, med katerimi posebno mesto zavzemata Kot nekoč in Lubas polka 1896. Obe sta zaigrani na več kot stoletno harmoniko Lubas letnik 1896, pravo glasbeno redkost, katere zvok nosi pečat časa in generacij, ki so ga oblikovale. Ostale skladbe so posnete na stare harmonike Melodija različnih uglasitev, kar albumu daje še dodatno barvitost in raznolikost zvoka. Projekt združuje nostalgijo s spoštovanjem do glasbene dediščine in obenem dokazuje, da stari instrumenti niso le muzejski eksponati, temveč živi nosilci topline, energije in zgodovine. Kot nekoč je povabilo k poslušanju, ki nas spomni, kako čarobno je, ko zaigrajo stare harmonike – tako, kot so zvenele nekoč.
The music project Kot nekoč (As Once Before) is a tribute to tradition and to a time when the sound of the accordion was different – warm, raw, and unique. At the forefront are vintage accordions, whose distinctive tone creates a special musical atmosphere and takes the listener back in time.
The album features 12 instrumental tracks, with a special highlight on Kot nekoč and Lubas Polka 1896. Both were performed on the more than a century-old Lubas accordion from 1896, a true rarity whose sound carries the spirit of time and generations that shaped it. The remaining tracks were recorded on vintage Melodija accordions in various tunings, adding color and variety to the album’s sound.
This project combines nostalgia with respect for musical heritage and proves that old instruments are not just museum pieces but living bearers of warmth, energy, and history. Kot nekoč is an invitation to listen and to rediscover the magic of the old accordions – sounding just as they did once before. Im Mittelpunkt stehen alte Harmonikas, deren unverwechselbarer Ton eine besondere Atmosphäre schafft und die Zuhörer auf eine Reise in die Vergangenheit mitnimmt. Das Album enthält 12 instrumentale Stücke, darunter die besonderen Titel Kot nekoč und Lubas Polka 1896. Beide wurden auf einer über hundert Jahre alten Lubas-Harmonika aus dem Jahr 1896 gespielt – eine echte Rarität, deren Klang den Geist vergangener Zeiten und Generationen in sich trägt. Die übrigen Stücke wurden auf alten Melodija-Harmonikas in verschiedenen Stimmungen aufgenommen, was dem Album zusätzliche Klangfarbe und Vielfalt verleiht.
