Dream Again

Dream Again is the third single of De Nieuwe Lichting; an unique project by Stichting De Nieuwe Lichting, where six of Rotterdam finest artist came together in COVID-19 times to capture the sound of Rotterdam. Besides singles and an album the project consists of a festival tour and a documentaryof the whole thing. The album is expected to be released in the beginning of 2022 and consists of multiple genres. From sweet pop songs to tough krautrock and banging hiphop to sensitive indie. Dream Again is a collaboration between all-round producer Beau Zwart and the lead singer of indie-ambient-punk band Socks;SportsSocks Djurre van Dijck about not being able to sleep. Since a lot of people related to this problem during the writers camp people joined the collaboration. Band members of LE MOTAT and KUZKO added to the collab by making the lead vocals extra dreamy. Besides, spoken word was added by Juno from Het Gezelschap to create a unique atmosphere in the break. The result is this groovey track which would be the perfect ending for a beautiful club night or just to put you in trance on your own.
