Tralalaureát connects what is seamingly worlds spart

Two leading Czech musicians and recipients of the prestigious Anděl music award, pianist, singer and composer Beata Hlavenková and producer Hrtl (Leoš Hort), have joined forces and announce the release of a joint album titled Tralalaureát. The new album, which represents a unique connection of their musical worlds, will be released on December 15, 2025.
Tralalaureát is the result of a fascinating musical conversation between Beata's acoustic piano, keyboards and voice and Leoš's modular synthesizers. As the authors themselves say, the project is about connecting worlds, connecting approaches and people from completely different sides of the musical spectrum. Their creative dialogue began earlier, during their collaboration on the successful audiovisual performance Vektroskop, which received ovations at events such as the Signal Festival or at the Cathedral of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora.
In addition to the central duo, a number of interesting guests participated in the recording. The completely unique trumpeter Oskar Török made a guest appearance on one track, and Daniel Vlček, a visual artist, musician and experimenter, took care of not only the sound but also the visual side of the EP when he created its artwork. Vlček's contribution was also reflected in the track Chromoskop, for which a limited edition of risographic prints will be created. The song Chromoskop is named after the unique device of the same name, created for the duo by the talented developer Antonín Gazda. The Chromoskop converts the color spectrum captured by the microscope lens directly into sinusoidal tones, which allowed Vlček to play one of his works of art in the track. The Tralalaureát EP also includes tracks recorded live during a concert, which gives the recording an authentic energy. Among the studio tracks, listeners will find the song Území nikhogo, written by Jenda Vávra. The entire work gained a unified charisma thanks to the mastering by Pavel Ridošek aka Rido. The collage of relationships and sounds is complemented by an exclusive remix by acclaimed producer Floex.
Tralalaureát promises to be an extraordinary musical experience that crosses genre boundaries and shows how seemingly incompatible worlds can enrich each other.
