Reduced to the max: “Hey, Lady!”, the new single from Bad Sellin' Record

It’s about time: after releasing “No Panic!” and “Cock Rocks!”, BAD SELLIN´ RECORD (aka B.S.R.) is now working on their third full-length album and putting out the first single “Hey, Lady!” as an appetizer. The 5-piece rock band fronted by shouter LX Lipscher (of Blind Petition fame) produced “Hey, Lady!” with Alexander Kahr and builds on an acoustic power-ballad with a catchy sing-along chorus. The lyrics feature the ironic story of a macho man who increasingly loses his patience with a (perhaps not unattractive) woman – deliberately simple and easy to grasp. The music of “Hey, Lady!” is based on two chords as an ultimate „reduction to the maximum“. BAD SELLIN’ RECORD’s new single was recorded at the studios “Lords of Sound” and “Bits & Notes” and was mastered by Martin Scheer. Since 2006, BAD SELLIN’ RECORD has been a well-oiled rock’n’roll-machine delivering all kinds of modern classic rock music – from fast live-rockers to emotion-filled ballads. The band around frontman/singer LX Lipscher has been taken note of with their last two cd’s “No Panic!” and “Cock Rocks!”. The songs carry one away and hit the core directly. Sometimes tender, sometimes rough, fast and loud, here and there close to madness, but always madly sensitive. Vienna, May 2012
