a majestic album of 12 tracks that exhibits the latest surround audio technology

Two decades of music innovation fully demonstrate that the creative landmarks of Azul Y Negro are inexhaustible. Its proposal of popular electronics colored the musical scene of the 80s with melodies that become authentic hymns. At the same time, those tunes broadcasted by hundreds of programs on Radio and TV inaugurated the synthpop age in Spain. With such curriculum, it was a justice fact that Azul Y Negro designed by its own right the pioneering bits for the first CD launched by a Spanish band (Suspense – 1984). Those historical facts already comprise of our culture, although now, another unusual, magical and revealing launching must be added to the listing... ISS is the new album with which Carlos Vaso returns to the headers of the sonic present time. And its landmark is to use itself the surprising potential that offers the surround audio technology, a system that extends the ultraprocessed borders of its magical combination of electronic sounds, voices and virtuous guitars. The new 12 tracks that includes ISS propose to the demanding ears a spectral experience that, until today, had not been enjoyed. The idea could seem presumptuous, but with this production, Azul Y Negro returns to recover his label of exclusive feature and digital art: to be the first Spanish band in launching commercially his music on surround 5.1 format, using the support of DTS-CD. By their innovation, ISS already counts with the support of the prestigious brands Apple Computer and Creative Labs, in addition to the certification extended by Digital Theater Systems as a production approved for their listening in surround 5.1 environments compatible with DTS. The album is launched also in traditional stereo CD-Audio. The following web will serve as a global resource for this launching: www.azulynegro.com/iss/ Unlike other music titles –which have its surround audio production based on a simple replication of channels– ISS has been designed from its roots to offer a complete multichannel sonic experience, forming a package that overflows sonorous art, melodies, harmony and spectral surprises. The meaning of abbreviations ISS –Incursion Sonora Surround– is the best illustration to define a listening that will take you until another dimension. Carlos Vaso has experimented with his massive collection of musical machinery to create the most ambitious and technologically advanced album of his great history. ISS supposes a point of inflexion for the creative universe, a step further in the audio production, or simply, another perfect example of the advanced world in which Azul Y Negro live and dream. Now, you will return to be part of him... Notes about Azul Y Negro The most popular electronic music band of Spain started its walking in 1981. An intelligent audio sinergy of electronic gear, acoustic instruments and robotic voices over synthpop music, turned Azul Y Negro as pioneers and great promoters of the electronic sound in Spain. Its first works on the 80s, still being of advanced cut for that moment, were a great success and reached the popular hymn category. It is the case of Me Estoy Volviendo Loco (Vuelta Ciclista A España 82 soundtrack), La Noche, No Tengo Tiempo (Vuelta Ciclista A España 83 soundtrack) and other magical top tracks that, in addition, influenced later productions that shared the same affinity for the musical technology. The Azul Y Negro original formation was divided in 1993, after launching the De Vuelta Al Futuro CD album. Nevertheless, the dissolution did not suppose the power exhaustion of that deep musical project. The decade of the 90s has been a period of great creative activity for Carlos Vaso, the founder of the band.
