Armand Joubert releases 'Flamboyant'.

The five octave range, pop sensation and favourite from The Voice SA Season 2 is back with his highly anticipated album, Flamboyant. After being compared to artists like Adam Lambert & Freddy Mercury on Mnet's The Voice SA where South Africans fell in love with the 25 year old, Armand decided to follow in his own footsteps and show his audience what he is made of and that he is an artist in his own right.
"I started making this album in the beginning of Lockdown when the global pandemic Covid - 19 hit the world. I thought to myself that I need to make a record that would want to make people get up and dance. Even in the midst of suffering, pain and sickness we can rise above, unite, conquer and dance through our pain. I believe music can make us do all of that because it simply has the power to change people's lives. Flamboyant is also my memoir in music and celebrates proudly who i am as a queer gay artist. I dedicate this album to the LGBTQ Community because I know it will give them so much life. It's for the culture. Cause there's not culture like gay culture" said Armand.
From pop songs on the album, like Armand's first single off the record; Salt & Pepper. This album is definitely a great example of versatility. Armand starts of this album with his spiritual declaration "I am" as the intro, followed by a powerhouse pop opener Flamboyant, that automatically makes you want to get up, get ready and go out to a club and dance. The album continues to serve you pop excellence from Flamboyant to songs like, Free Me, Boys, Boom, Stranger and without really noticing it, the sound of the album starts progressing more into Techno Dance and then switches to Afro Tech while Armand continues to flawlessly serve you with his incredible vocals and lyrical content.
Armand features 2 artists on Flamboyant. 16 year old aspiring singer, also known as his younger sister, Amone. It is very clear that musicality runs in the family, as they are getting you all up in your feels with dance ballad "By My Side".
Just when you think it can't get any better, underground rapper and beat boxer Anime joins Armand on highly energetic hip hop banger, Drip. On this song it proofs that both Armand and Anime are made for greatness, as Drip makes you feel like you are listening to a song by Lil Wayne & Justin Timberlake.
Flamboyant is the pop album you never thought you needed and Armand Joubert is definitely a star in his own right.
