Alpine Convention Theme (Original Score from: Leading the Way for Sustainable Life)

The Alps are a unique living environment. Stretching across eight European countries, they represent a naturally and culturally rich environment with great diversity, but also with many similarities and common challenges. Their ecological significance for a large part of Europe means there has always been a need to find a balance between environmental protection, economic development, and the social wellbeing of the Alpine inhabitants. Sustainable development is therefore an established concept in the Alpine region and an area in which the Alpine Convention is leading the way.

The Alpine Convention is presenting a new video summing up its mission and accompanied by a musical theme written especially for this occasion. The composition was composed and produced by Žiga Pirnat.
