Popsongs are ubiquitous. They rule the world, the global music market, and they leave an indelible mark on the taste of entire generations. Everyone hears them, day in – day out...as a matter of course. «I love Pop» is, then, actually nothing special. Yet when the “wild threesome” surrounding composer and violinist Florian Willeitner profess their support for pop, something different happens. The innermost core and the secrets of pop get deciphered by means of classical piano trio artistry. The result: music under high tension, paired with poetry and emotion.
