If someone asked him about the reason why he is DJ'ing he told them what he feels. It is wonderful to "play games" with the Tracks. Mixing Tracks, create new stuff on this and see what you can do with the Crowd - turn them going crazy. Once he said: It's a fantastic feeling if you are working at the Turntables, see how you can take effect to the emotions of the People and let them drift to an acoustic orgasm q:-] Since this time one of his friends did always welcome him by "Hey Turntable!" so the Nic TurntableDJ was born and he never got rid of... ;-) Long time ago TurntableDJ was spinnin records as Resident for some years at a Discotheque called Bodai-Center near Eschwege (Germany). There he played in front of 1500-2000 people. End of 2008 TurntableDJ participated to Samsung-Sensation DJ-Competition (Germany) an he won this contest. He played a great Techno- / Progressive House Set (~2h) at the Sensation "Ocean of White" on NewYearsEve (08/09) in the First Comfort Club of the LTU-Arena Duesseldorf and got a lot of positive feedback on this. At the Beginning of 2010 TurntableDJ became a Finalist @ NGDJ-Contest and got the 68th place out of >3400 participants. "Just" the 68th, cause his progressive sounds did not hit the right genre for "The Sound of Miami". But - listen to the Mixes and form your own judgment about it q;-) Finaly the NGDJ-Contest gave him an impulse to produce own stuff. So the first release "Tecnologica" took place at his Final-Mix and also will be released now. About technology: TurntableDJ started by working on Technics Turntables. He still owns his first two 1210MK2 and like he said, he will hold them until he die and take it with him into his grave. He also tried out Midi-Controllers, Ableton and the great APC-40 Controller... Wow - great stuff, but some where the handicraft will get lost. He also checked Pioneer equipment and that's what he got caught of. His new best friends are his CDJ-2000 CD-Turntables. A perfect arrangement between the good old handicraft and new technology... So on Stage TurntableDJ prefers to play on CDJ-2000's. Life goes on ... Beat goes on ... 2 be continued .....
