Since 2007, THE (NEW) ATTENTION! have stood for an explosive mix of Garage, Surf, and Twist in the style of the early Sixties – raw, energetic, and infused with unmistakable Viennese charm. With their uncompromising drive and authentic vintage aesthetic, the band has earned a solid place in the international 50s and 60s scene.

Their releases on labels such as Sleazy Records and Wild Records, along with performances at international festivals from Spain to Russia, have made them one of the most distinctive live acts of the garage revival. They’ve shared the stage with genre heavyweights like The Neanderthals, The Kaisers, and The Staggers.

With their signature “Twist & Twang” sound, analog instruments, and a good dose of tongue-in-cheek humor, THE (NEW) ATTENTION! blend danceability with raw authenticity – sweat-soaked, unpolished, and refreshingly free of hipster attitude.

Always driven by their passion for the wild spirit of early Garage-Rock / Frat & wild Twist, the band now celebrates the release of the second installment in their ongoing single series: “Fever” – once again mixed by none other than Shakin’ Mathew of The Incredible Staggers. Adding to the release, the track comes wrapped in a striking Garage-Rat-Fink–style artwork created by Mario.Dandified aka King D, giving the whole package an extra dose of wild Garage-flair.
