Bits

Bits is basically a collection of instrumental, hip-hop oriented, tracks produced between 2011 and 2014. Apart from that, it's the first Sunmo official release on Scene Music Records.The album aim is to celebrate hip hop culture through a modern reinvention of it, starting from its roots - the "right" samples - and evolving till its newest form - the offbeat and complex instrumentals a-la-Flying Lotus - without losing the "beat" appeal. The result is a milkshake of old and new sounds, vinyl samples and synthesis, 8 bit melodies and piano Rhodes.A collection of material that wasn't created to fit together, but comes from the same source and needs to be published to create something radically new.
