Wood To Fire

“Wood To Fire” is the first single from The Riddle Tales of Moon-Nights, the new album by Sonia Linares & The Midnight Music Band. Rooted in the 60s–70s singer-songwriter tradition, the track blends Americana, folk-rock, country, surf and psychedelic textures with Mediterranean rhythms and the organic energy of a live band. Its cinematic atmosphere draws on the Western, road movies and film noir, with echoes of Tarantino, while keeping a distinctly personal and Mediterranean character. Produced by David Chueca and recorded at La Casa Murada, the song introduces the album’s world of nocturnal stories, unusual characters and shifting landscapes — a meeting point between the American road, Mediterranean sensibility and Sonia Linares’ own songwriting universe.
