She Past Away is an industrial / new wave band from Turkey. Clashing gothic lyrics with buzzsaw guitars, allegedly broken vocals and sensory drum effects, the band evokes the cavernous experiments of darkwave era with the likes of The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and Suicide. So far, SPA has performed at Istanbul's reputable venues, to say Babylon, Peyote, Dogzstar and Minimuzikol... The common characteristics of their live performances is that they combine their well-positioned rawk tunes and harsh textures with paranoia-inducing industrial visuals which are created by Asli Narin. Their loud and high energy live shows have garnered much acclaim in local music scene. The band appeared in many music blogs and magazines, including Billboard, Bant and Reset. SPA has also been lauded as Best New Band of 2009 by the radio show 'B Yuzu' at Acik Radyo. SPA's sleepwalking chant "Kasvetli Kutlama" invaded the audience at live shows. Soon, the band made a video for the song. SPA's Bozbulanik has recently been featured on the compilation “Industrial Underground Vol5¨ which was published in US.
