Red Alert

"Scarlet" were a short-lived bluesy hardrock supergroup emerging from Reutlingen (near Stuttgart) in 1986. It was initiated by Germano-english guitarist and studio owner Terry Henderson on guitars; He convinced several legendary world class musicians to join the project: Steve Ellis on vocals - formerly with a.o. "Love Affair" and their evergreen "Love grows", as well as bluesrock legend bands "Ellis" and "Widowmaker" - later with the New Amen Corner - one of Rock's finest voices; on bass Martin Connolly - formerly "Dumpy's Rusty Nuts", "Rick Wakeman", Bruce DFickinson, Van Morrison ...; and, last, but not least, on drums, Andy Beirne - formerly with "Grand Prix", "Lionmheart", Ozzy Osbourne a.o. This outfit came up with a sensational yet enormously underrated and overheard killer album: "Red Alert"
