Prylf make modern music from old-time jazz evergreens, infused with an unusual playfulness and courage. The arrangements spotlight the fragility and beauty of the original tunes, without fear of twisting them into unrecognizable shapes, in raw and brutal improvisations. Prylf was formed in 2007 and has played all over Sweden, always with great response. Despite and because of their role as the «enfant terrible» of Swedish jazz, Prylf attracts new ears and brings curiosity and self-confidence to a music that still deserves to move.
