an updated version of a country song of the seventies: Dave Edmunds covered it then and Juice Newton had a top-ten hit in the early eighties, austrian Singer Nickerbocker had a respectable success in 1982 in Austria and Bavaria with his german-sung cover-version "Puppe (du bis a moderne Hex')", it went #3 in 1982 in the austrian charts, it's still on the radio, in ballroooms and discos.
