New album from Hungarian space/prog metal band

The band was formed in the beginning of 1996 with the following line up: Róbert Hocza (guitar, vocal), Krisztián Békei (bassguitar), Gábor Somodi (keyboard), Gábor Bartók (guitar) and László Zabari (drums) The initial songs had melodic death metal tone. In 1996, the debut took place in a talent scouting event called "Rockpárbaj" in Kazincbarcika, Hungary. After having changed some members (Larion Oláh (keyboard) and Zoltán Almási (bassguitar) joined the band) the first EP called "Meaningless Heavenly Being" was prepared in 2000, published by the Backwoods Production. After some quieter years and new member changes starting from 2002, the following line up was formed by the end of 2005: Róbert Hocza and Gábor Dévényi at the guitars, Roland Lovas at the bassguitar and László Zabari at the drums. The music became more and more electronic and instrumental. Following this new trend the EP called "Ecotone" containing five tracks came to life in home circumstances in March 2007. The soundtrack gained very good critics either in the electronic or in the printed media. In the same month, the first videoclip for the title track of the album came out, too, prepared by Tibor Mile at mininmum cost, also in home circumstances. The clip was shown in a programme called "Megawatt" on VIVA Television. In this new form the first concerts were performed followed by a lot of positive feedback from the audience. In March 2008, Gábor Dévényi travelled abroad, so temporarily Máté Bodor (Wisdom) joined to help out the band at concerts. Apart from performing on concerts and small festivals, the band took part in many national talent scouting events in 2008, getting great results mostly: -ÉTER festival, Salgótarján- 1st place -AZFESZT talent scouting event, Nyírbátor- 3rd place -Gyár-Sztár talent scouting event, Budapest- 3rd place -Metalchamp talent scouting event, Budapest- 7th place At the end of this year Gábor returned and took up his place in the band. Shortly afterwards the recording of the second five-hits demo started with the usual home studio solutions. In this way The Sagittarius demo came to life and was published in January 2009. This album was also welcomed and spread in a relatively wide circle, due to the fact that it was freely downloadable. A new videoclip was prepared for the song Copernicus, too. In concerts even now there is a video installation prepared by Tibor Mile for each song with projector to enhance the visual and audio experience. In 2011 the band was completed with a female singer, Viktória Hocza, who also plays the keyboard. There have been new member changes as well: Gábor Nyerják /Solidmen/ replaced Gábor Dévényi on guitar, and Sándor Gáti (ex-Nervekiller) replaced Roland Lovas on bassguitar temporarily. The band is continuously performing on concerts, and features not only instrumental but also vocal music which is highly welcomed. New songs are continuously being written, which gives space to create a more extensive material. Nine songs were completed for the summer of 2013, and the recording was started immediately. The new album, called "Beta", will be prepared until the summer of 2014. In parallel with the new audio a new videoclip is being prepared for the song called "Monolith" which is from this album. The "Beta" was released on 2014 november by Hammer Music/Nail Records.
