mark hyper: the purest electro jazz funk with the deepest groove, on cubase 4.
Distilled out of the primordial funk soup, mark hyper’s music is percussion orientated electro jazz funk with a groove. Influenced by the music of miles davis, weather report, the crusaders, bob james, chuck mangione and grover washington, mark hyper explores the interface between noise and rhythm, rhythm and pure funk, incorporating latin-american, hip-hop, jazz funk and occasional bursts of found-sound atonality. Realised on cubase 4, the search for the perfect groove and the purest funk is at the heart of mark hyper’s continuing journey. 2 previous cds by mark hyper are available: 'zoundz!' and 'the perfect crime'
