Traffic Light EP - From Switzerland to Kingston
Jamaican dj and songwriter Lexicon steps into the light with his first single "Traffic light". A beautiful song describing the magical moment when a woman catches a mans attention with a glance: "uuhh the way she smiles she caught me at the traffic light".
Waterhouse based Artist Lexicon (born Basil Sibbley) is known as songwriter for John John (King Jammys son), where he contributed to songs like "Shoot Out" & "Real Jamaican" for Mykal Rose. As an original member of the group XSYTMENT he now starts his solo career with a hit-song that created a good local buzz before it's release.
"Traffic Light" is going to be released worldwide through the swiss label DCQ records on February 24th 2012.
The video is a 13th tribe production, directed by David Rogers.
On the Traffic Light EP you also find a song of gambians rising reggae star Junior King. With the song "Itʼs not ok" the energetic voice of Junior King "the revelation fyah" is expressing his concern about the sufferation of his people and people all over the world.
The EP is produced by swiss producer team The Dubby Conquerors.
