Journey to Yesterday Track No 1- Journey to Yesterday This is my journey down memory lane, growing up I always gravitated to songs with rich bass lines that resonated with heartbeats. It always took me through a sonic adventure, reminiscent of past memories. Track No 2 – Couleurs This track represents various colours of contemporary, traditional and new age music arrangements. The sweet melody fused with rhythms from the east and west representing the sesonal changes throughout the year. Track No. 3 – Moonlight Dreams From a young age I have been inspired by music from the east and west. This is my hommage to the late Pt. Ravi Shankar and The Beatles. Moonlight Dreams combines rich elements from classical Indian instruments Sitar and South Indian precussions along with Bass and strings. The east gives a strong rhythmic backbone to the sounds of the west. Track No. 4 – Destin In Destin, or Destiny we travel through latin percussion, rhythemic patterns, artistic colours , sweet and and vibrant sounds of the flamingo guitar with backing vocals taking you from the lush greenery of the Amazon to the serene beaches of Rio. Track No 5 – Mujra Mujra, is a form of dance that originated by the courtesans during the Mughal era. This track combines the melody of the “Santoor” an ancient string intrument native of Kashmir Valley with origins in Persia and the beats of the Tabla, Dholak and other Indian percussions. Mujra takes you to a time where opulance was the only way to live Track No. 6 – I’inspiration As name suggest this track will inspire you with sweet melodies, fusion of dynamic rhythms and world of experiemental sounds and artistic colours creating ambient moods Track No. 7- Raat “Raat” meaning night, is the perfect end to our journey. The night is where our dreams come alive and give us inspiration for our journey ahead. The combination of the “Sarod” and dynamic rhythms envokes a positive and tranquil sensation. ------------------------------------------------------ “Journey to Yesterday” is an inspiring album of seven compositions of smooth , relaxing and chill out instrumental music as described above. The unique style of music seamlessly blends sweet melodies, providing the audience with a sonic adventure rocking from the East to the West.
