Siehst du den Regenbogen ("Over the Rainbow")

„Mama, warum gibt es eigentlich nicht so eine Musik für Kinder wie für euch Erwachsene?“ Diese Frage hörte Kerstin D. fast täglich von Ihrer Tochter Emilie. Und das war der Startschuss für Kerstin D. & Kids. Nach dem ersten Titel „Alimeera“, der mehr als nur ein Achtungserfolg Ende 2009 war, kam mit dem Titelsong für eine neue Kinderserie „Die Taggels“ ein weiterer Meilenstein in Richtung Pop-Musik für Kinder hinzu. Kerstin D., die auch seit vielen Jahren als Songwriterin tätig ist, holte sich im Sommer 2010 für das entstehende Debüt-Album „Wunderland“ mit L. Marché und M.Donner zwei erfahrene Produzenten ins Boot. Nach einem Rundfunkinterview 2011 wurde Kerstin D. & Kids von einer Redakteurin gefragt: Warum macht Ihr nicht mal eine deutsche Version des Welthits „Over the Rainbow“? Gefragt, getan. And this was the starting shot for Kerstin D. & Kids. After the first title “Alimeera”, that was more than a considerable success at the end of the year 2009, a new milestone in direction Pop-Music for children was added by the theme song for a new series for children called “The Taggels”. Kerstin D., who is working a lot of years as a songwriter too, co-operated in summer 2010 with the experienced producers L. Marché and M.Donner for the development of the debut-album called “wonderland”. After a radio-interview in the year 2011 Kerstin D.& Kids were asked by a woman editor: Why don’t you create a german version of the world-famous hit “Over the Rainbow”? No sooner asked than done.
