Wanderers Of The Deep

Galia Gilady, a radio DJ from Israel, has turned the table and decided to check how the other side creates. Galia, who has been writing music since childhood, learned to play the Cello and the Guitar, wondered how her songs would sound when produced. She took the songs she wrote in the last couple of years and looked for someone suitable to produce them. She met Shai Barshishet, a Bass player and Producer, who shared the same love for alternative music as her, and together they decided the direction each song would go. Soon after working together they realized they have enough songs for making an album. The album, like both Galia’s and Shai’s taste in music, is very diverse. Live acoustic instruments combined with electronic production, each song has its own style, but still, they are all put together under the same vibe and connecting sounds. Influences from Joy Division to Beth Gibbons, Big Band to Dub-Step. Shai and Galia have created a musical and emotional journey. Wanderers Of The Deep is both Shai and Galia’s debut album.
