econic -solidly grounded

econic provides finest synthpop and electro-grooving sound in the cast with Tom from the electro-city Hamburg and Ingo and Bernd from Braunschweig/Germany. In early 2008 econic published the first long-player "grundrauschen" whose songs were mentioned laudatory in magazines like the „Sonic Seducer" and this year the second album of econic will be finished. The second CD will bear the name "solidly grounded" and will contain no fewer than 13 songs plus bonus material. The variety of the new album tracks like "black crow", "SIRA", "a friend's letter" and the dance-floor filler "ordinary people" shows the broad spectrum of econic's musical and lyrical evolution. The song structures on one side and the instrumentation with a wide range of sounds on the other hand underlines that the music of econic is besides trodden paths and full of synthesizers, sequencers, groovy bass lines and haunting drums. In comparison to the first album „grundrauschen“ it can be seen that „solidly grounded“ is the result of a significant advancement. Another facet of econic is shown by the several remixes, such as the "Kognitive Dissonanz-Remix" of the title "Labyrinth" from Oomph!.
