Lebendige Vergangenheit
Although Munich was the focus of his singing activities he also appeared all around Europe as well as in North America and at the Metropolitan Opera. In 1917 he sang the role of Borromeo in the world premiere of Pfitzner´s “Palestrina”. Fritz Feinhals was a moving and powerful interpreter, a type of modern "singing actor". He was famous for the fine diction and great dramatic impetus that characterised his vocal interpretation.
