RECUERDA album

The color is the basic element of the AZUL Y NEGRO´s (Blue and Black) name, but at the same time, with its tones colored the Spanish musical scene of first years 80 with a shade that, until then, he was totally stranger. That color is not other that the one that arises when the technology is used of creative form to change and to impel music, and that indeed was the greater Azul Y Negro´s success: to be discoverers and prophets of electronic music in its own country. The band begun its musical walking in 1981. Its intelligent sonorous chemistry of electronic equipment, acoustic instruments and vocoders with very dancing bases, turned them impellers and authentic pioneers of electronic music in Spain. Not by chance they successed with songs that, still being of advanced music after that moment, they reached the longed for popular hymn category. It is the case of “Me Estoy Volviendo Loco”, “the Night”, “or “NoTengo Tiempo” and others many stellar tracks that, in addition, influenced later electronic productions of another bands. The original formation was divided in 1993 after the publication of the CD De Vuelta the future. Nevertheless, the dissolution did not suppose the power death of that deep musical project. The decade of the 90 has been a period of great creative activity for Carlos Vaso, leader and motor of the group. He confronts a new sphere of projects surrounded in the Azul Y Negro´s spectral magic. The first Azul Y Negro´s musical expression after its return has by name Recuerda, luxurious compilation with 12 great successes of the 80 that the band has remaked with the help of the 2002 technology, although conserving all the spirit technopop that was come off the original versions.
